My name is Nikki, I’m 31 a
mum of two and I am the editor of WomensBay. I have a background in
freelance writing and being an avid fan of eBay, I recognised that there
was something missing for us girls. Yes, you can get advice on
eBay, but no one will tell you straight like we do here at WomensBay. We
won’t print any false information – all our sources come directly from
eBay.I felt
that there must be other ways to get your account noticed, as eBay is
such a vast community – it’s getting harder and more competitive each
day – so WomensBay was born.So it
all started out with me hammering away and producing a word document but
with the arrival of Cheryl (Wizzardorea) – it has now transgressed into
a website!Here you
can promote your account to encourage more sales, we offer templates
(designed exclusively by our webmaster Cheryl) and advice on HTML to
make your eBay listings really stand out. We have expert advice and
interviews from very established and respected eBay traders, and in
addition to all that, there is so much more. I wanted
WomensBay to be a great additional resource to eBay but we have
subscribers here that aren’t even part of eBay.We offer
a variety of articles, advice, stories, jokes, diet support, alternative
medicine remedies, parents corner, recipes and much, much more.Just
like any monthly magazine, it changes each month (some parts weekly)
with new features and articles. We’re always coming up with more and
more ideas to improve the site and we take on board all suggestions from
our subscribers. What I am trying to get across to our subscribers, is a
feeling that they are part of a community, where they can come and chat
to other women, e-mail for advice and know that they will get a response
as oppose to being a letter stuck at the bottom of a pile on an editors
desk. I whole-heartedly encourage everyone to write in with either
stories or letters and many of our subscribers make great use of the
chat room and forums.Now –
you can’t buy that in a newsagent!I’m sure
that if you decide to subscribe to WomensBay, you won’t be disappointed,
if you are, then I’m afraid you would be the first!Click on
the subscribe page where you can subscribe via Paypal. If you don’t have
a PayPal account, then contact me directly where we can arrange for you
to make your payment via cheque.Hope to
have you on board soon, Regards Nikki (WomensBay Editor)
About me -
Cheryl (aka Wizzardorea) Ok to brief .......
I came across a listing on Ebay for a Womens E-Zine that sounded like a
REALLY Great Idea .... I contacted the Seller ... Yes you've guessed it
Nikki ...... morechampagne! I wanted to ask if I could advertise my
website
www.wizzardoreas-world.co.uk in the E-Zine
.... To butter her up a little I even subscribed myself! (she still owes
me the £3 Quid!! LOL) Those members
who have supported Nikki since Issue 1 will remember it as being laid
out in WORD format ... Nothing wrong with that I thought ... BUT I CAN
MAKE IT BETTER!!!So I got to work
.... I never even asked Nikki ... I had one thing in mind ... WomensBay
is going to be HUGE and I want to be part of it! I created the website
(Nikki had already registered the domain name www.womensBay.co.uk) ...
needless to say Nikki was thrilled ....the rest is History.
Subscriptions are steadily growing and although it can be hard work at
times, it is great to be part of such a wonderful community! |
